I can’t help but wonder how screwed up these are going to look once I start spinning the string (as this project will eventually end up being.)

Are you using pure colors (ie: only 0 or 255 for a channel without PWM)? Or just a chipset with very fast PWM?

It;s cool in any case. Have you been able to handle 3 or 4 sided layout yet?

a) it’s not my code and it’s onloy using 64 levels of brightness, not all 255 levels. I’m in the process of rewriting the whole thing.
b) this chipset does not have very fast PWM and it’s very noticeable. I’m waiting for a shipment of some LPD8806 which have a much faster rate. Going to build a custom strip.
c) I’m not sure I understand your last question …
