I hope someone can help me with this:

I’m looking for a type of bearing that has a spherical insert inside the main body that enables the shaft to move radially, rather than just holding it in a straight line axis. I just don’t know what that is called.

Tia

So the bearing can slide along the longitudinal axis, while being free to rotate around or while it can change the point of direction?

Ball rollers (like a needle roller, but with lines of balls) allows the bearing to slide and rotate.

Look for linear ball bearings and spherical shaft bearings to get an idea of what I mean

What you’re describing sounds like a spherical bearing. Search for that.

🤦 of course! “Spherical bearing”. I shoulda known. Thanks guys!
