I have this small part I’m making out of paper that is chemically treated

I have this small part I’m making out of paper that is chemically treated to be an insulator quite stiff. It’s about .76 mm thick and around 15 mm wide and 30 mm long. It cuts real nice and the flags get folded up. The problem is it’s hard to see in LW and check out the order of cut.

Is there a way to blow up the view to see the cut path and the part better after it’s loaded?

Second, I imported it as a dxf then generated the gcode. The order of cut is not what I wanted. What is the best way to avoid this? I’m thinking bring it in more than one file to get the cut order right?

I tried to edit the g-code after placing it in a file out of LW but so far I’ve not got the ‘save’ protocol right (LF and so forth) … I’ll work on that later. At some point I’ll write a post in my little cadcam to generate the g-code there.

Last question, I notice that G2 and G3 are not used on the laser examples I’ve seen though listed on the smoothie g-code sheet. Can they be with I and J?

OK I just found the answer to cut order. So that one is answered!

Scroll-wheel on the grid zooms in and out.
Use colors, layers and/or groups to separate the cuts, and then place them in separate operations to control their order

@CescoAiel Thanks, The mouse I’m using dosn’t have the wheel but I have another I can dig out that does.
