replace the bearings instead of replacing the motor.

You can check this post thread for more info.
Hi all,
I have a stock K40 laser engraver.
Y axis stepper motor has failed.
With no power, i should be able to move axis up and down freely.
It seems that it is stuck.
Can you suggest a replacement part for stepper motors.
I want to replace both stepper motors.
My board is stock M2 nano.
Regards,
Dimitris

and this thread on my problem and solution when my X axis motor was acting up.
Has anyone run across the stepper motors on the K40 getting worn to the point they chatter?
You’ve all probably seen a toy car or cheap DC motor wear to the point that when the motor tries to go fast it slows considerably and chatters as it wobbles in the bushing and how a tiny drop of oil will get it working for a short period. That’s the effect I’m seeing and hearing.
I even removed the X axis bearing, OMG they bolt mirror #2 right to the motor, and ran it out of the machine in raster mode …
