I have a problem with calibration. The x-axis and y-axis home works but when i press z-axis home, the arm goes up little and then stops. I am using Cura - 14.09. The -Z tool down button doesn’t work unless I press the Tool up button first.
Could also be a broken connection on the z end stop
I did a M119 command and the z probe is always on triggered
Swap z and y end stops to see if it responds. You can hit the y end stop manually to stop the z from crashing
I swapped out the Z and Y end and the Y is now always triggered and I tried to stop the Z from going down too far by pressing the Y end stop but that didn’t respond so I had to unplug the power before it crashes down. I also tried using a metal object for the Z probe to stop but that didn’t work either. Do you think it’s the mother board?
The end stops are normally closed, so assuming the firmware is set to normally closed, it must be the board. If you are in warrantee, just fill out a ticket. If not, we do offer cheaper refurbished boards to ease the pain.
