I had an idea that it would be pretty useful for specific positioning to make the Axes widget accept typed input. If you want your X axis to go to 39.7mm, just type 39.7 into the X DRO display to send it there.

I appreciate that I could do that by typing a line of gcode into the serial terminal, but it seems to me like it would be a nice usability feature.

What do you think?

You can do that in the tinyg workspace

Oh, fantastic! I had tried it in the GRBL space, but I’m in the process of swapping out to a tinyg g2 Due, so I’ll be using the tinyg space soon.

This would be a lovely feature to copy to the jpadie grbl 1.1 workspace.
