I found this is in the CNC community. I posted it here because it would be useful for anyone utilising the lost wax investment method and I wondered if someone might be able to adapt it to take advantage of the fused filament process or possibly the chocolate extrusion process.

I have the plastic as powder for this exact purpose but a hard time getting things to mix without the plastic sticking together in blobs inside the molten wax.

(Using a microwave with hot-air oven at 150°C=300°F.)

Alternatively, does anyone know a cheap source of Fila-a-Wax or similar 500g blocks in Europe?
Prices here are extreme compared to the US as it’s mostly used in smallest quantities by dental labs.
