I finally tamed openscad (and a little inkscape) for my now totally free Tamiya M-03 wheel design. Given up with the Alleycat design as it was depending on layer bonding too much and kept splitting, this OZ WRC design has spokes right up to the face so may prove stronger.

Don’t attempt to render unless you have a lot of RAM. I’m still deciding if I want to try and design a monocoque chassis in openscad.

It is parametric to an extent, the offset and the amount by which the spokes push out forward is adjustable.

Not printed this one yet, printed other spoke patterns many times now.

It’s a 42mm diameter rim. 25mm wide.

Not too hard, you’d need to get the hub right too. And the bead might be different. This wheel fits on a Tamiya M-03 chassis.

Maube this will be a perfect fit for my Tamiya Rally Block tires… http://www.tamiyausa.com/product/item.php?product-id=50476

Yep, they look like the ones you get with the “rally” version of the M-03 mini.

@Szymon_Kobalczyk I bought those tires to be used on this one: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:83024 but I never got around to model proper rims.

@Szymon_Kobalczyk If your up for it, i think i might have an aluminum chassie plate laying around. If you want it, it’s yours!
