I discovered that, the way I routed the motor wires on my 3DR, they were beign pinched between the sleds and the top of the printer…I suspect that would make good calibration impossible. So I went from a 90% printer to a 60% printer. Now when it homes, X and Y home and stop, Z gets to the top, the end stop lights, and the Z motor jumps rapidly like they do when the endstops are mis connected…

Only is IS the Z end stop, the motor direction is correct, the light lights, and the cable is taught. It all looks proper but it’s obviously not.

Where the heck do I look? I’ve tried changing the direction of the motor and the setting on the Zinvert in the firmware, but I can’t find anything obvious.

Meh, scratch that. After two solid days, I finally pulled the rumba, cut all the zip-ties…it was a wiring issue. Next printer will have all axes clearly labeled.
