I build a file in Inkscape to a tight tolerance but when I bring

I build a file in Inkscape to a tight tolerance but when I bring it into LW4 I have to adjust the size and lose the tolerance. Any suggestions? I’m posting this question in the Inkscape community as well.

Check you have the correct PPI setting under Settings/File Settings. Also you make sure you have ‘Force PX per inch’ turned on. This is an unusual feature and off by default for some reason.

The Force option is there to support a certain commercial SVG tool that has a header which lies about the PX per inch value. When the option is off, it uses the value in the header when it exists, and falls back to the setting when it doesn’t. All versions of Inkscape from the past couple years fill in the header properly.

Had the same issues, I put it down to a xml setting called viewbox.
You can save as optimised SVG and tick the enable viewboxing button in inkscape.

This worked for me.
