I bought a universal drive shaft but it has no holes for the hex

I bought a universal drive shaft but it has no holes for the hex nut pins. Any idea on how to secure the wheel?

I would like to know as well. I have a couple sets like that.

I got some of these for the outside:

I plan to put some of the kind that use a pin on the inside without the pin.

If you look closely you will see a flat on the shaft. You would have to modify the hole the axle passes through to be printed with a “D” hole. The pins are stronger as the d in plastic can wear open. You can also place the axle in a vise and use a drill press to drill a hole through for a pin.

The link to ebay, I don’t see a D holding piece. Do they actually make that part of should a guy just purchase a drive shaft with the hole in it already?

You can tap a grub screw through the hex nut to the flat part of the axle, that’s what im going to do.
