I am using the dev version of slic3r and i can’t seem to stop it producing a raft in the gcode. Anyone else see this?

Check your brim settings

Slic3r does rafts now??

Brim Is set to zero. Its generating actual raft and I can’t seem to find a way to turn it off.

@Pete_Prodoehl Yes, as of 0.99, I think

Under the Print Settings tab, support material you will find the 'Raft settings. Set Raft layers to 0.

Bug with a perl module

Boost Geometry Utils was upgraded to 0.8 to fix this issue. Upgrade it in your OS if you can. :slight_smile:

I still see some failed tests when I run Build.PL after upgrading to 0.8, but it at least doesn’t do this!

I’m, luckily, still on 0.6; the build script for slic3r-git in the Arch user repository doesn’t force upgrade of boost libraries. :slight_smile:

@Tony_Olivo @ThantiK thanks guys. I have just built a new machine and I thought I had done something really wrong when kept getting these results.

Just pulled the latest git and its been fixed: https://github.com/alexrj/Slic3r/commit/c2aa119c09350d1ea3d3cb1adb017d2dd2eddddd
