I am having adhesion problems with my Printrbot Simple 2016, the print is stuck so hard, I can barely pry it up, many times it actually removes part of the tape, Any ideas how to fix this @Brook_Drumm1 @ThantiK

That’s better than not sticking.

Maybe set the first layer height slightly higher, or the z-offset from the bed sensor slightly higher.

It’s a struggle. One day it’s lifting off, the next it’s stuck so hard it’s fused into the bottom of the print… I eventually moved to printing directly onto acrylic (plexi-glass). But thinking back, I suspect the answer lies in a balance of new lightly sanded tape (improves adhesion) and controlling the temperature/layer height of the first layer. I’d start by backing off the first layer temp by 5C and see if that helps.

get a Filaprint plate and you will never have any problems anymore.

I reran the calibration and changed the Z offset by + 0.2 and it solved my problem.

Awesome! Tho 0.2 is quite a lot

I use a mirror with a PVA and water mix (PVA filament mixed with water 10:1) the adhesion is perfect up to now. as soon as the printbed cools down i can easily take away all the parts…
