I am concern about the security of having a 3d printing inside an apartment regarding the particles it emits and fumes.

I want to know how did you overcome this problem, I am thinking in enclosing the 3D printer with a ventilation hose like this one:

And also not printing using ABS

Whatever garbage hype article you recently read regarding ‘particles and fumes’…is bull. You get far more particles and fumes simply by cooking an egg than your 3d printer will give off in 10 years…

Short of you printing some plastic that’s extremely smelly (PC, ABS, etc) – it’s just not really a concern.

I want to build one enclosure like that, but without the fume extractor

A cat litter box gives off fumes that are thousands of times smellier and more dangerous than printing PLA. Thanks for the honest and CORRECT answer Thantik, I find many people have become so over safety concerned that it borders on the ridiculous.

That is a stylish way to organize your printers.

thanks for your answers, but as a esceptic person, where do you people find this information? can you provide a link to a research of this matter? I just want to be informed with actual information and not “somebody told that”, thanks!, I am deeply sorry if I sound pedantic
