Dear everyone,
I am totally new to programming. What I want to do is to compile source code of LaserWeb to get a new installation .exe file.
And one simple question, Laserweb is a free open source software, could I change its name and customize it into a new one?
Anyone could give me an instruction please?

It is open source, but you must follow the terms of the GNU Affero General Public License v3.0. This means that if you share it in any way, including using it to provide a service, you must publish all your source code changes with it.
So the first step is to read the GNU Affero General Public License v3.0 and makes sure that what you intend to do is allowed by the license.
