Make a 3D printed hand with a built in light hardening plastic extruder with the light on the thumb and the extruder on the pointer finger.
That way, she can make new parts for her new hand using her hand.
Honestly, I’ve gotta agree with some of the Hackaday comments regarding the #eNABLE project. These hands are all very 90 degrees about everything, and the thumb jutting out at 90 degrees needs to be fixed. I love what they’re doing, but they’re lacking the right people.
