How do printed TPU tires compare to regular rubber RC tires?

ok great. This is what I was hopping to find out before wasting any $ on flexible filaments.

Has anyone tried casting rubbers? I can easily make a mold in my printer. I think that casting it would be pretty easy if any good castable materials exist.

Yes, you can easily make molds and cast parts. I have several customers who cast urethane wheels for RC Scale vehicles including $15-20K jets. Check out this playlist of mold-making vids centered around 3D Printing: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL_Aij55CbyPk1Tw3zy8F-SIfRBZNZnnkT

What i am looking for is an easy way to make mini z tires. I want them to be decent but do not need racing performance. Tires this size are not available from my LHS. I tried molding some from oogoo but it tears too easily. What urethane do you think would be good for something like this?

FP-60 is a good place to start. Most tires our customers make are 60 Shore A hardness. You could go down slightly to 50A if you need more grip.
