How can i reduce z axis banding . I am using treaded rod instead of lead screw.
Get proper leadscrews.
Or
Try a rubber hose coupling
give the screw-nuts play in Y/X. So they can move freely and didn’t transfer their excentric movement to the bridge.
Another dirty trick I used with some success was to turn one of the threaded rods by a bit (and the corresponding nuts if necessary) thereby reducing its effect a bit near the middle of the print bed.
Seriously though, you’ll be much happier if/when you get proper leadscrews. They really aren’t that expensive at the sort of lengths most people need.
You really should get lead screws. I use to have threaded rods and while they mostly worked, actual lead screws are SO much better. Plus then you can just buy a spring loaded device to put on the lead screws to get rid of the banding. Actual lead screws are worth the money, trust me…
+++++ can you help me?
