Beaglebone can not support 16g microSD?

Depends on the software version if the SD can be detected. There isn’t a problem with 16GB cards.

FYI BBB’s current Angstrom versions (to 06.20) don’t auto-detect microSD insert, so you have to reboot with the card inserted. In other words, you have to have SD card inserted at boot for the device to be created (and u-boot will try to boot from it unless you’ve modified the default boot script).
Alternatively you can use a USB card reader.
