ah one dump question… whats the output voltage of the arduino pin? the data signal should be 5v so far i remember for the specs… my teensy would provide 3.3 without the octows2811 shield…

The Arduino Pro mini comes in 5v and 3.3v versions.
The LEDs might be SK6812s, try defining them as SK6812 instead.

It was arduino problem.
Another arduino (original arduino, not china clone) works well
