Hi,

I recently updated to MacOS Sierra, which ruined everything, and has been nothing but trouble to get my laser cutter working again. Once I solved the issues that caused my mac to crash when any Arduino was plugged into it, updated to the newest version of GRBL and finally found the Sierra-compatible JSON server, it works once again! Now, however, in the ChiliPeppr GUI, I can no longer see the machine coordinates or any of the machine parameters. Anyone have any ideas how to solve this? NaN.000 is not very helpful for calibration!

You sure your device is sending back the coordinates?

One way to tell is turn off the filter (funnel) icon in the Serial Port Console and see what comes back after the position request that is sent every 500ms by SPJS.

Thanks for getting back to me! Before I updated to GRBL 1.1e, it always showed my coordinates. When I turn the filter off, it just comes back with the G-code and ‘ok’, but I am not exactly sure what I should be looking for to see if its sending coordinates.

Sounds like you need to config your grbl to send the data back
