Hi guys, thought this might be a better place to ask this question. I am trying to get another Axis running on my TinyG v8. I have all 4 stepper motors currently tied up due to my duel Y axis. What I would like to do is use the port on TinyG such as J17 / J18 to connect an external stepper driver so that my Y axis is only tying up one port. This would free up a motor driver that I could assign to an A axis. I am pretty confident this will work but where I could use help is choosing an appropriate driver that will be compatible for this function. I have an easy driver on hand. Could an easy driver perform this task?
