Hi guys. . …
Long time lurker, first time poster here. . …
Don’t know if this is the right place to ask, but do you guys know of any slicing software that can export sliced objects to a series of ‘stackable’ image files?
Thanks. . …

Slicers for resin DLP printers do that, I just can’t remember a name.

Slic3r can export to a per layer dxf

Also, FormLabs has an opensource DLP slicer here:

The description says it creates a zip file of the .png slices based on the layer parameters and other related factors.

Here’s some software I wrote to do that, with various powder printing backends:

I’ve tried that slicer but this is what only shows. . .

@Jason_McMullan
Also tried yours, but don’t know how to use it. . :stuck_out_tongue:

@Justin_Nesselrotte
Gave it a shot and it works. But exporting on a per layer basis would take some time, specially when it’s a 150+ layer object. . :I

@Jeff_DeMaagd
Looked around the net for dlp slicers, can’t seem to find one that can export individual layers into image files. . .
I may have not looked hard enough though. . . :slight_smile:
