Hi
for school i have to make a conception of a DLP-printer and have some questions:

  1. is DLP a part of SLA or are they totally different?
  2. it’s a bottom up system. Which material should i use, that the print sticks on the board?

Thanks in advance

  1. Yes it is. DLP is a variation of SLA, where instead of using a laser to cure resin, you use a projector displaying an image of each layer
  2. I believe most DLP printers just use either an aluminium or steel print bed, though PCB has also been just as popular. Just make sure to cure your first layer longer than each subsequent layer, regardless of material.
