Hi Folks, I’m a big fan of LaserWeb.

Hi Folks,

I’m a big fan of LaserWeb. I made my first steps with a 2,5 watt diode laser.
But now I like to step up a little. I look to buy a china 40w co2 laser:

can anyone tell me if I can make this work with laserweb?
or maybe have another recommendation for a laser?

I want to engrave leather, not only burn the surface.
It would be nice to get sone depth.

and also it should cut, with 1-2 passes.
and not burn its way slowly through.

hope some one of you have sone experience.

rhank you guys for all your support in the past and now.

greetings from berlin

The machine is fine, but you need to change the controller board to get it work with LaserWeb (or any other gcode based Software).
Look out for Cohesion3d mini (upgrade kit). See: https://plus.google.com/communities/116261877707124667493
