Hi everyone. I’m now having great success with laserweb 4 . My problem now is that its cutting about 65% of the size it should, is there a setting I can change this? If I cut an object that is show 27cms diameter on screen it cuts it to about 18cms
Thanks !!
What type of file are you importing? Are you running the latest version?
Dxf fikes should not suffer from size variation. Is this your first time using LW with a particular machine? Can you show me a screenshot on how you are generating the operation?
@Ariel_Yahni_UniKpty I’m using pre made files, not made by me. Its showing the correct size on the screen, but when I go to cut they are so much smaller. But yes it is my first real venture intoCNC !

Is this that first time running LW in that machine) controller? You need to test your jog. That means, mark and jig then then measure the traveled distance it should be equal to the jog
The steps/mm in the firmware of your control board are incorrect.
@Richard_Fisher Sorry, I’m not computer literate, are the firmware steps in the Settings somewhere ?
@Richard_Fisher That’s the problem, I asked it to jog 100mm and it moved 63mm. Please, please tell me in simple terms how to adjust this Thanks
