Hi! Any idea for a new extruder? I want to upgrade my Prusa I3 Hephestos buying a better extruder. Is it possible?

If you want a new hotend I would suggest the e3d v6 or any other extruder from e3d really. If you’re talking about a cold end you can find a design you like online and print it out.

I was thinking of making a liquid cooled one via lost pla casting in aluminium…

I would think it is possible . I did like the all metal extruder but there is a Bowden extruder system versus the motor at extruder type . It may help having the extruder motor separated from the actual extruder for some machines .
