Hey, I have been trying to figure out the settings for engraving for a while… And I would just love some help here.

  • What speeds are you engraving at?
  • How can I make mine go faster? I cannot seem to get any different speed by changing the proportionate feedrate.
  • What about the laser power constraints? If I engrave at anything more than around 10% max, it just burns too deep. I have very little control over the engraving result so far.
    What am I missing here…? :slight_smile:

(I have a k40, with digital display. I have the laser power on the display set to 70)

That makes sense. Sounds like a plausible explanation. How would you suggest I check the wiring/psu? How can I determine where the issue is? Maybe this is back to @raykholo again? :slight_smile:
