Hey guys, Paul deGroot is at it again with another Kickstarter, this time for a 5 axis controller called Super Gerbil. You can have a look here: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/2118335444/automate-anything-with-super-gerbil-cnc-gcode-cont?ref=discovery&term=super%20gerbil

Tough time of year to do a kickstarter in my opinion. It looks like a nice board but I am more in the market for a board with no on board drivers.

You can use it with external drivers.

@funinthefalls yes I agree, I just think a board without drivers would be cheaper

I’ll talk to Paul, and see if he will put a reward tier without the drivers, just the board. Would shave a few bucks off the price.

Wow awesome, that would be a step closer to my ideal board.

Talked to Paul, it only makes the difference of about $10.00 for the 3 drivers on the Bronze tier.

Thanks for checking, understood. I assumed one would have add a lot of PCB space, diodes and caps etc. to support the onboard drivers. I just thought a board without onboard driver support would be smaller and cheaper than those with.
