@ThantiK Okay I am sorry. I though it was a resistor in the heater cartridge that produced heat but apparently it wasn’t. Thanks!!!
@Noah_Schreiber , it’s resistance wire - but a thermistor is a resistor too. Just use the proper terminology when referring to these things, it’ll help us help you.

Yeah. Or post a picture of something physically broken. 
Btw I’ve had a good old power resistor crumble and I use a heat cartridge now. Way better.
