Hey guys, a friend told me of the delta printers, which I didn’t notice before. But what are the advantages/disadvantages?

Hi, I’m no expert but from what I heard, the general pro is less number of parts (faster build and less costly parts) and faster speed in moving the extruder. One con would be that it is a new system so troubleshooting is a bit difficult?

One of the cons is that resolution on the inside/outside of the part is different. Troubleshooting isn’t all that bad as long as you’re using precisely cut parts and have the right dimensions in your firmware. A laser cut frame + tslot kit is probably one of the best types to grab.
