Hey all,
When putting together a j-head what do you guys use for glueing/holding in place the resistor & thermistor?

I saw something about using exhaust putty for the resistor.

Any other suggestions?

@Thomas_T_Sorensen I’m assuming that’s for the Resistor, not the thermistor?

I know where to get exhaust putty easily enough, no so sure on fire cement. I assume that used about fire-places?

only $900 you can get a perfect one!

I just hold mine in with kapton tape. The resistor you wrap with aluminium foil until it’s a tight fit.

Thanks @Richard_Mitchell Foil on the resistor makes sense and sounds like a good idea.

So as long as the thermistor is held generally in place it will do? doesn’t need to fit as well/tight as the Resistor. Well I have plenty of Kapton.
