Hey all, I’m currently working on a infinity mirror using ws2812b’s and I have a bunch of apa104 leds also. I have heard that the apa104 is a clone of the ws2812b’s.will they both work interchangeably? Or do they have slight differences that will screw up my end product? I’d try to test, but I don’t have the setup available right now.
In theory they should - in practice, I haven’t heard of anyone doing this - the biggest issue would most likely be if the reshaped output that the APA104 put out didn’t line up with what the WS2812B was expecting.
(Personally, I try to avoid mixing and matching on the same lines)
