Hey All,
I just put together my first printer, uploaded the firmware, and set all the settings in repetier. I am trying to connect to the printer and I am getting this error. Any ideas?

Two things that come to mind: Did you install the drivers for your Controller board? And the second thing I’d check is the baud rate, two most common settings are 115200 and 250000
Hey Alex, yeah I was able to install the drivers and I have the baud rate set at 250000.
@kaley_garner Have you tried using the other baud setting (115200)? Also check to see if your board is being recognized by Windows using the Computer Management tool
Just check on device manager that your board is recognised or not
Hey @Alex_Lee and @Akarshan_Mishra , I tried changing the baud rate but it didn’t change anything…it seems that using the current settings and the 250000 baud rate I can get it to connect but only intermittently and non consistently. It seems that when I can get it to connect that it times out. Any other ideas? Of course, when it successfully connects it shows up in the device manager, but once disconnected in repetier and upon removing USB, and reconnecting USB it’s not recognized in the device manager and thus not able to connect in repetier. Tonight I was able to get it connected for a minute and home all axis and heat up the extruder and bed but then the program quit when I began a print. I wasn’t able to get it to reconnect after that.
I think you should adjust the potentiometer of the pololu driver to stop over heating
