hey 3d lovers i was wondering if it would be possible to have a quad (or just more than one ) extruder installed on my ultimaker original.

Don’t go for more than dual until you’re proficient in dual. Even just dual is not an easy jump. You would have to make a lot of changes to the machine to go beyond dual, including adding a slave controller board or replacing the controller.
