Here are my steppers and spindle motor. Steppers are only good to .83A. Most low end controllers are good to 3A or more. Would it be worth upgrading the motors while I’m at it?

How much can your drivers handle of voltage? I would at least try to double the voltage if it posible with your current setup.

It’s all a single integrated unit that I’ve never bothered to open. I’ll check and see, but I suspect not much.

Yeah it’s not hard, but will it accomplish what I want it to? That’s my question. I need my mill to stop slipping. Can I fix that by giving it a higher voltage source thereby driving more current through the coils faster thereby giving it more torque?
