Help us gather the attention of the G+ team! Currently,

It seems that @ThantiK has set all his posts to “non public” - if not logged in his profile is empty.

@Ulrich_Baer I don’t have any of my posts as non-public.

Check this screenshot: https://puu.sh/BiHzW/0f3fdb3d19.png – There’s at least 2 listed as public. On this side, they all are. I’ve checked any/all privacy settings too.

I can’t find any community search options to turn on/off either.

i can only tell that this post generate an 403 (forbidden) if accessed without login - and none of your posts are visible. I assume this happens when you set your privacy settings. But if you checked those some error may cause this and eventually also the issue with your community.

@ThantiK did you set (restrict) anything in https://plus.google.com/u/0/settings/audience ?

@Ulrich_Baer 18 and older it says.

I changed it to everyone. But still - shouldn’t affect the community.

@ThantiK and still can’t see this post (w/o loggin) maybe only new posts are affected from the setting (yes as described in the link) - 18 and older legaly would mean that G need to check for age which can only be done with a login (authentification) https://support.google.com/plus/answer/6020454?hl=en

Done.
but you should ask the question in this community
https://plus.google.com/u/0/communities/115287855840632692408 this is a community owner and modirator community John R Ellis might have a answer

@shauki you made a fuzz about “not beeing able to see it” - this is the explaination - that simple! Sometimes Google changes code so things that logical need to be restricted are now working proper. - but this still didn’t fully answer why the community didn’t appear in searches except the community is also set as “with content for 18 and above” - so you should at least get the search result when logged in.
— Ok now i left the community didn’t change the results, even with the owner name i only get his collection but not this community. I would assume it is hidden by G - maybe to big to be found as it works as a magnet so no one enter other 3D printing communities and G don’t want to advertise a hub becoming a self-magnificating monopol. This may also have to do with the amount of Spam hitting this community.

Still broken. Feedback sent.

I’m starting to wonder if Ulrich has a point. What if they’re hiding communities above a certain threshold to keep them from ‘blackholing’ and being the default community for things?

Here’s an idea. Create some more 3D Printing communities, which simply link back to this main community. Get a few 1000s of members on those communities to stand out, and 1 post to simply link back here… Until this issue is resolved…

@Step_Cia I know there has been another community with the same name for 2+ years. It would be odd for it to just recently cause a problem.
