Hello, my name is Tyrone and I'm really new to 3D printing and RC

Hello, my name is Tyrone and I’m really new to 3D printing and RC projects. I bought a FlashForge Creator Pro about 3 weeks but got bored with the standard 3D models. I wanted to try something different but not all that complicated. I downloaded and printed all the parts for the OpenRC F1 project. I also ordered all the additional parts Daniel suggested and started the assembly. I was following his “Build with me” series of videos but he hasn’t covered mounting any of the electronics yet. Since this is my first time building an RC car and the only thing that came with instructions was the RC remote, I’m not quite sure what my next step is. I can solder and it seems like everything on the motor is labeled but if someone could point me in the direction of a manual or some sort of tutorial, that would be greatly appreciated.

As far as electronics go, most cars need a servo, esc, motor, and your transmitter and receiver.

I’m almost certain these will work.

Yes, those are the parts I ordered but I need the manual on how to install them. It didn’t come with any instructions and i couldn’t find any on the Turnigy website. Thanks for the quick response.

No, this will be my first time assembling an RC car.

I think the build assumes you have some basic knowledge of RC electronics since building any RC car from scratch is not a trivial matter, whether you build it from store bought parts or print it and build it, you will face the same challenges, if not more. I think google will be your best bet here as most car electronics are wired up pretty much the same. And of course you can post specific questions here, I’m sure the group will pitch in answer them.

really sort layout = battery to esc. Esc to motor. Esc to receiver. Servo to receiver. As Long as you Keep the + and - correct there aint a whole lot that can Go Wrong… if you want i can get you a Picture of the Electronics in Mine…

Alright, I’ll give it a shot. Thanks for the tips.
