Hello, I was thinking of building a delta type reprap 3d printer.
But i was wounding, if i have a build radius of say 300mm, how big should i make the arms that hold the extruded?
sorry if this is a noobish question.
If your arms are straight foreward from a vertical tower, the hotend should reach the end of your bed. So it depends on the ‘thickness’ of your carriage and the diameter of your endeffector.
And, please tell us you mean 30cm, not 30mm.
