Hello!
I need some help. When i set steps per mm from 200 to 24 for my z axis it starts vibrating. I use marlin firmware. When it is set to 200 it works smoothly and noiselessly. One more question:here http://prusaprinters.org/calculator/ i’ve found out that i have to set my z steps per mm at 400 but it doesn’t work since calculator calculates micro steps. So why is that ?

Commenting to follow. I had same issue with the cheap BYJ48 steppers… My Z motors (in parallel) spun fine, while the (slower) X/Y motors just sat there and buzzed/vibrated.
