hello guys, i know i allready asked this but i’m going to make an ambilight and for that i bought a strip of sk6812 RGBW and i saw ( when it was too late ) that there was no support and i know that work is in progress, so do you think that i should buy another ws2812b strip and do my project or the SK6812 will do the job when the support is out ? thank you for your answers.

It may be a long wait for RGBW support, so I would just go out and buy a strip of RGB WS2812’s and get on with it.

That being said, I prefer APA102’s because of the interrupt issues with AVR’s.

@Nidal_HADDAD which board are you using ?

@Andrew_Tuline i think i might do that.
@Yves_BAZIN an arduino nano.
