Hello everyone,
last year I build the Prusa i3 MK2 from the kit.
It turned out that the actual build process was way more fun than I first thought.
I have to admit that I tasted blood and I want to build another printer.
This time I don’t want to build it from a kit.
I just want to start with an existing plan and order, build and print parts.
I came across the “printtable” https://all3dp.com/3d-printer-made-ikea-lack-tables/
and the “sparkcube” http://the-sparklab.de/

Now I need your advice. Do you know other 3d printer plans that you can recommend? Maybe with some annotations about the main feature of the design (accuracy, big build volume, print speed …) and pros and cons?

Many Thanks!

Look for the awesome eustathios / herculien community for @Eclsnowman
I built an eustathios about a year ago. It works very well.

Looks interesting. What is the benefit of the crossed rods in the middle? Since now I only had a printer with two parallel X rods in the middle where hotend and extruder sits on.

The main goal is to reduce the weight of the moving parts ( xy carriage) to boost the speed.
