Hello All, I’m looking for hardware/software examples that couples an encoder with an animation. The best way to describe what I’d like to do is to move a ‘spot light’ around a person jump-roping with and an LED jump-rope. While I’m agnostic as to how to solve this I’m currently playing with a Teensy 3.2, APA102 LEDs, FastLED.io, and a 16bit Magnetic encoder with SPI output.
I have a LED POI jump rope code if you would like to check it out. It uses a hall sensor and a custom gui to help bitmap the images. Let me know if it may be useful to you as I don’t be developing it any longer. It really was more of a goal of just doing it rather then taking it to market.
