Hello All, Does anyone know what it means when a reboot of the BBB

Hello All,
Does anyone know what it means when a reboot of the BBB results in a boot hang with LEDs USR0, 1 & 2 lit up solid, leaving USR3 off?

Hello Jason,
this can happen when your boot partiton is on the eMMC on board and there is a uSD in the slot while booting.
I have the same issue when I am doing that.
Is this the case? If so, try booting without the uSD card.

Thanks for your reply Günter!
In this case, I did not have a card in the uSD slot. I think I broke my Linux install while doing an installation.
Since then, I got myself an FTDI-to-USB cable, so now I can watch the console during boot-up. Hopefully this will help me figure out future issues.

@Jason_Ziegler i now have the same problem, please tell me how you solved it, no uSD card is inserted!

Hello @AshenOne !

What fixed my BBB for me was to re-flash it with the current operating system. I had updated some software (I don’t remember what) with opkg and that resulted my problem.
Re-installing the original OS fixed it for me.

See http://j.mp/1a2JHci for directions from CircuitCo on how to do this. If you have a Mac, see http://j.mp/11pY4DQ.

Good Luck Ahmed!
