Have a question and I know it will show my ignorance as I ask

Have a question and I know it will show my ignorance as I ask it but here goes! I have an x-carve 1000 and it used to work fine utilizing chilipeppr and json serv driving the system from the display! I looked at the designs being done with the Aspire software and downloaded the stuff to look over the system but the first thing I ran into was the request that I have a post processor for the software to communicate with the cnc ? Now I am thinking that I woun’t have a clue on where to start to get the Aspire to run the GRBL Arduino setup??? Or don’t have a clue on how to go about it from start to complete!!! Can anyone head me the right direction to find out how to hook this string end to end to make this work? I asked the fellow at Aspire but he has still to respond to me???

You can use generic post processor. It’s just how the code is made machine specific ( like added m codes and comments) but generic should work on all machines.

@Steve_Anken Thanks have also discovered the GIT scheme but am just getting started designing my window for the x-carve control 1st I want to get a panic button for the machine I just drove the suction nozzle into the waste board tonight and I don’t want a repeat w/o a kill switch handy!
