im very tempted to give it a try (with PLA) to build a printer.
i made a test piece, it came hollow. Dimensions are perfect, but its hollow. WIth slic3r, 2 perim, 0 infill, im going to try more perimeters.
Aluminum ones are probably cheaper, at least if the printing time is worth anything.
