Has anyone tried making their own filament from Delrin scrap? I have a ton in my machine shop, and I’m wondering if it’s possible.
Heating over 220C or so releases formaldehyde. With a melting point of 180C, that’s a tight window to avoid toxic decomposition products.
Hmm. That’s too bad. I’ve got a lot of off cuts, that are too small for anything useful really. A milk crate full, that I would like to find a use for.
