I went to burn some more ‘fancy’ Christmas tags last evening and was not getting much power from my laser. I blamed the fact it’d been a while since I ran LinuxCNC and was forgetting something or missed something so I put Smoothieware back on an got the same thing. Tested the ‘fire’ button after switching to smoothie and validated LPS and tube could still burn well. Hadn’t burned with the new Lightburn so went to old version and got the same things.
My ground wire from the LPS to the MKS sbase v1.3 board had some off( jumper wire ). Doh! Got grounded and burned beautifully just 2 hours later than expecting.
