Guess whose back. ME! and I have another question for all you guys ill take any and as much feedback as I can b4 I make a decision. So after upgrading to a heated bed, all my PLA prints are perfect! no warping at all. And that got me thinking, if I should upgrade my hot end as well. from reviews I see that the Ubis 13 hot end I have now cant go above the 220C range comfortably and that hardly enough to print in a variety of filaments. so I am on the search for a good hotend that can go hot enough to print all those nice fillaments, like nylon, nijaflex, etc. got any in mind.
Ps. I was looking into a E3D v6 but not sure if I’m up to it, the swap looks complicated, especially the firmware updating and all. If you guys can help me out that would be great!
@Ross_Bagley Printrbot Simple Metal with super x axis+ heated bed upgrade
@Ross_Bagley ya I wasn’t planning to get a clone I’m still new to this and I don’t take chances ruining the entire printer over couple 100 bucks. About that adapter I cant print it in PLA?
@Ross_Bagley is PETG printable on my current hotend?
@Ross_Bagley quick question I have a pc not a mac, and I was looking at the instructions and they only have the mac files not pc, do you know were I can get the pc files
@Ross_Bagley k looks interesting going to take me awhile to figure this out. ill update you one my Q’s
@Ross_Bagley k hope u know a lot about this kinda stuff cause I’m so lost. could you email me a simplified version of flashing the firmware with the necessary files for the E3D v6 or like a video of you doing it. I feels like I’m lost in the labyrinth too much going around (+ I’m a noob at this)
@Ross_Bagley ahhh its ok. it will just take awhile to figure out, I started to get somewhere just now see where it takes me. I just don’t want to get the hotend and then figure out I cant reflash the firmware and have a unusable hotend on my hands
