GRBL cant clear alarm

Hi.
Been a few years since I used chilipeppr last. But I have a pcb project coming again, and would love to use the awesome features.

I downloaded the 64 json server for windows and run it. But I am unable to clear the alarm state, and so cant move my machine.

Any ideas?

Any commands get this response:

error: Expected command letter

error: Alarm lock error: Line overflow

You need to connect using Grbl buffer, not default buffer like you have in your screenshots.

Took me a while to figure out what that meant, but I got it Thanks!!
I’ll post a picture for anyone else as computer illiterate as me.
